We're still reeling from the shocking and unexpected passing of Ross Anderson last week. You can read a lovely tribute to him by Satnam Singh, and I still getting my thoughts together on all the guidance, advice and prods in the right direction that Ross has given me over the years.

In pragmatic news, I'll be emergency lecturing part of Ross' 1A Software and Security Engineering course here at Cambridge, along with my colleagues Martin, Alastair, Mort and Rob who have all stepped up at short notice. I have absolutely no idea how we'll live up to Ross' standard, but we'll do our very best in his memory!
