# Xen 2002

The first technical report on the [Xen Hypervisor](https://anil.recoil.org/projects/xen) hypervisor is now available. I mainly
contributed to the early NetBSD port (but have run into a snag with the lack of
linear page tables in our paravirtual page implementation). This was the
initial documentation of [Xen](https://anil.recoil.org/projects/xen) at the Cambridge Computer Lab, describing the
paravirtualization approach that would later become foundational to cloud
computing.
