      <title>24 - will it ever end?!</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;Finished watching the first season of 24 late yesterday.  Scottie and I were pretty staggered by the twist at the end - never saw it coming (still trying to figure out how it makes sense actually).
&lt;br /&gt;
Just as I thought that the horrible draw of the series was over, I remembered that I had the first episode of Season 2.  Damn, more late nights and missed breakfasts ...
&lt;br /&gt;
In other news, I got invited to the Graduate Union annual party yesterday evening, where the Vice-Chancellor of the Uni of Cambridge was hanging out.  But before I had a chance to quiz him on his &lt;a href="http://www.cus.cam.ac.uk/~mrc7/cuipr/"&gt;dodgy stance on intellectual property&lt;/a&gt;, he'd smoothly excused himself to go to another dinner appointment.  And the guy is bailing out this year as well, grrr...&lt;/p&gt;</description>
